Technology & Enterprise
The Technology and Enterprise Learning Area provides students with the opportunity to extend their knowledge and skills in a number of contexts throughout their 5 years at Morley SHS. The context include –
Aeronautics
Business Studies
Design and Technology (Manual Arts)
Home Economics
Information Technologies (Computing)
All of the subject in this learning area have a knowledge component and skills (hands on) component.
Students in Years 8, 9 and 10 are offered subjects that provide the building blocks for years 11 and 12. Curriculum Council courses are taught as well as Units of Competency (TAFE Subjects) in Automotive, Business Studies and Information Technology.
Year 8 students complete introductory courses in Information Technology and Home Economics. Students in all years select subject in each learning area according to their preferences.
