Chaplain

Mr Samuel Oey. Chaplain.

Chaplaincy:

The particular role of a chaplain at Morley Senior High School is to look after the well being of everyone within the school community. A chaplain is a member of the student service team who is available to students, staff and parents as a friend, listener and counsellor. He also assists, contributes and takes part in a wide variety of school activities.

Some Ways a chaplain could Help you?

    1. Listening. A chaplain is available for any one to talk to (about the good times or about hassles and problems)
    2. Referral. A chaplain could refer you (at your request) to appropriate people within the school, or helping agencies within the community
    3. Support. A chaplain is available to give the support and encouragement to any one who is going through a tough time
    4. Resource. A chaplain is a resource person whom you could talk to on various social topics and concerns.
